Summer Adventure

Join the Dodge Center Library for an awesome adventure this summer! Earn special library merit badges by completing reading and activity challenges plus themed weekly challenges all summer long.

For youth: 

Pick up a challenge sheet at the library or print one from the website – no registration necessary! Mark off the challenges as you complete them, and bring your sheet to the library to pick up your unique badge! Get 1 or 20 at a time, whatever works best for you. The challenge runs all summer long: June 1 through August 31.

What else can we do?

We have lots of activities this summer, including:

  • Storytime for young children every Monday at 10am.
  • Magic: The Gathering for teens and tweens every Monday at 1pm.
  • Music & Movement for preschoolers every Tuesday at 10am.
  • Slime Club for all ages every Tuesday at 1 and 1:30pm.
  • Pokemon Club for elementary and middle school kids every Wednesday at 1pm.
  • Lego Club for all ages every Thursday at 10am.
  • Game Day for children and families every Friday at 1pm
  • Movie Day for all ages every Friday at 10am. Movies are as follows:
    • June 7   Pokemon the Movie: I Choose You!
    • June 14  Into the Spiderverse
    • June 21  Minions
    • June 28  Frozen
    • July 5  The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe
    • July 12  My Little Pony: The Movie
    • July 19  Star Wars: The Clone Wars
    • July 26  How to Train Your Dragon
    • August 2  Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone

No registration is required for any of these activities, and all are FREE and open to the public.
