Genealogist and author, Rick Crume, will share search techniques and best practices for anyone interested in learning more about their family’s history. In his presentation on Tree Keeping, he’ll cover tools to help you record names, dates, places, relationships and sources, not to mention family stories and photographs. Rick will compare the most popular genealogy software and online tools, including RootsMagic and Family Maker software, Ancestry Member Trees and the FamilySearch Family Tree. He’ll also describe how you can synchronize your family trees on your computer, mobile devices, and online family trees.

This program and all programs at the library are FREE and open to everyone.
